Smart or Hard Work????

This debate have been going on for a while now on different platform that it drew my attention.



Either to work smart or work hard.



Some will say "You really don't need that much hard work but when you work smartly you'll see the result"



And the other will say "You can not achieve anything without hardwork"



And so on....



So which will you pitch your tent???



Fine, we all want result and will try to evade hardwork and surely embrace to work smartly.



But do you know what?



There is a certain stage you could have worked before you can eventually start working smart.



The only time you can eventually work smart is only when you have worked so hard to get to that level.



A beginner shouldn't even think of working smart at first because it is more like you're looking for shortcut.



Yes shortcuts.... And you know where shortcut can lead to?



I won't answer that for you...



Okay let me use Copywriting as an example.



I am new in Copywriting and I just want to start making money, without learning the skill well.



While what is in my mind is to land big gig or high paying client.



I am still yet to study sales ad, learn how to write a copy or read books relating to Copywriting.



Am I not just deceiving myself?



While what I am busy doing is running advert on how good I am in copywriting blah blah blah.. which is what I call smart work.



What if I get the gig or the high paying client, now tell me what will be the outcome?



 *Success or total Failure????* 



Of course I will flop woefully.



So I've to have put in a level of hardwork before I can start working smart.



I have to put in that hardwork in studying sales ad, writing copys (GrammarHippy really hit me well on this word) on a daily, reading books and the likes first.



And be sure I am at least good at the skill before finally running ad and the likes to attract that high paying client.



So put in that hardwork and not just by jumping fence all in the name of smart work.

WHY NOT TRY THESE?

Reading the first two chapters of the Boron Letter by Gary Hilbert has been wonderful. Okay, let me brief you. Thank you. Actually talking about how exercises relieve your brain to function well. The past couple of days have been horrible just because I've been finding it hard to read for long. Fine, I'm not a type who can read for 5 hours straight but I know I can at least read for two hours on a stretch. But of recent even to read for 15 minutes has been challenging.
